Hello! I am the fish behind all of this! I grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains where I grew fascinated with the tiny critters living under logs. As I got older, the ocean began to fascinate me and I fell in love with the tiny worlds hidden within tidepools.
Since then, I have gone to school for aquarium science and have continued to work in the aquatics industry since the age of 15. My past work has included working for public aquariums in animal husbandry and public relations, commercial aquatic facilities in husbandry and health management, and in aquatic parasite research as an aquarist and field tech.
Throughout the years, I have wanted to show my love for all of the magical beings that live in this world, and my mode is through art. I enjoy capturing both the beauty, insane cuteness, and grotesquery of nature, as well as the thin line between life and death.
I work with various mediums, including real animals & plants that have departed the living world. I also enjoy sculpture, illustration, and sewing! In my free time, I enjoy taking care of my houseplants, pets, and aquariums, spending time with my sweet partner, as well as play Neopets.
